A Brief History Of Creamery Tire:

Dick Shainline began a small tire business from his home in early 1988, servicing family, friends and members of the local community.  Along with his two sons, Richard and Jim, they spent most of their evenings and weekends doing this part time.   The Shainline Family conducted business so each customer was treated like extended family, they set honest prices, provided superior service and always offered a smile and friendly word.  It turns out that this was so refreshing and basic that people came back - their friends came, and their friends-friends came.  Business began to grow - slowly and steadily.

After only 4 short years the family garage was simply not large enough, so they expanded it.  Over the couple years that followed that was simply not enough.  Dick resigned from his "day job" and ran the tire business full time.   As soon as the business could support it, his sons would join him.  Richard was first, then  Jim was on board.   Soon thereafter they purchased land at the current site in Creamery right off of Route 113.

Now, ten years later, Dick is semi-retired and Richard and Jim are Managing Partners of the family business.   The same philosophy applies today just as it did at the home garage.  Of course it is  easier to get to now and instead of the two or three guys working on your car they share the work with nearly a dozen of their friends.

Please come in and join our extended family.
